最近はインターンシップを奨励する大学が多くありますが、今年の夏、ステラは、愛知県内の大学において「海外インターンシップ」に参加する学生へ、「出発事前研修」として2日間、合計4コマのセミナーを行いました。
セミナーで学生は、語学はもちろんのこと、異文化体験シミュレーションゲームを通して、楽しみながら他国の文化やビジネス慣習に触れ、新しい価値観を学びました。また、文化がどのように創造されるのか、といった仕組みを学びました。参加した学生からは、「異文化の地に行くんだという自覚が改めてできた」、「渡航前に改めて、心意気が確認できてよかった」などというコメントが寄せられました。学生のみなさんの海外インターンシップでの活躍と、帰国後の成長が楽しみです。
Pre-departure Seminar for Overseas Internship Training at Universities
Many universities are encouraging internships these days, and this summer Stella conducted a two-day seminar for students participating in an ‘overseas internship’ at a university in Aichi Prefecture, for a total of four sessions as ‘pre-departure training’.
In the seminar, students not only acquired the necessary language, but also enjoyed experiencing the culture and business practices of other countries and learned new values through cross-cultural experience simulation games. They also learned about how cultures are manifested and how they shape our values.
Participating students expressed that they had redirected their feelings of fear and nervousness into a newfound feeling of excitement. They felt that they were able to reignite their motivation before going abroad and experiencing a different culture. Stella has confidence that the students' will put their skills to good use and have a fantastic experience as an intern abroad.
